I have a Canon 30D DLR camera.
Primarily I bought this for use in Astrophotography. This 8 Mega Pixel DSLR camera has proven to be a very versatile and useful purchase. In addition to the standard 10-55mm lens I also have a 55-250 lens as well. Add in my electronic cable release and this is more camera than I can handle.
The cable release allows me to take program multiple shots without needing to touch the camera. This can be used to create time-lapse sets or in a set of astro-photo images which can be combined to bring out more detail.
